As a designer, I take a question-forward approach to get to the root of the problem, and then approach solutions holistically and thoroughly. Others have also described me as detailed and a good collaborator, and I'm a big fan of diagramming and prototyping to move the conversation forward.

I'm also at home as a facilitator, in which role I like creating an atmosphere for others’ voices to be heard. Through simple methods I try to provide right-sized constraints to draw out the opinions and ideas of participants. In my view, a good prompt is the best medicine.

In my capacity as an embedded designer, I seek to support and to give back. I believe all designers live in a continuum, shepherding software from era to era. I try to contribute processes and team rituals that create a healthy, productive culture that lives beyond my tenure.

Finally, I care deeply about the climate crisis. I seek to work with clients who understand their responsibility to the planet and are not afraid to make commitments towards a more expedient drawdown.

When I’m not designing, you might find me hiking, painting, or reading about language, psychology, and urban planning. A good taco or curry is the fastest way to my heart. ❤️
